I looked over and her arm was twitching, her eyes were rolled over to one side and drool was pouring out of her mouth.
I yelled for sarge, who took one look at her and started getting ready to go.
I picked her up to get some pants on her (it snowed later that night. brrrr..) and my poor belle was stiff as a board. She got her first ride in a vehicle without a carseat that night. Sarge is a Combat lifesaver, so he knew what to do. I found out later that she rode in the front seat with her head on his lap all the way to the hospital. She came out of the seizure on the way there. Sarges mom picked me and Calvin up on her way to the hospital.
For the first time in my life, I was impressed with the hospital here. we were in and out in two hours. Belle has a bronchial infection, but the reason for her seizure was a sudden spike in temperature.
I know a febrile seizure isnt life threatening, but seeing my baby like that has made me appreciate her soooo much more than i ever imagined i could.
The constant chattering is now music to mine and Sarges ears.
I lovingly collect all the bedtime buddies and help put diapers and clothes on the ones who need them.

Isaac was sick for several days, during which i was useless around the house because he would NOT be put down.
Other than a cough every now and then, everyone is all better and I am elated to have my house back to the normal chaos and noise !
